New Clear-out Event

Periodically we hold 'Clear-out' events to clear out all the fish stocks from our lakes. We do this to remove any fish which have become 'fly-shy' during the busy summer months, slim fish which have over-wintered, and fish that have been marked or damaged by predators.

In doing this, we maintain the high quality stock which our Fly Fishing customers can expect.

The lakes are kept fully stocked leading up to the event (over-stocked if anything), and fully re-stocked on the evening of the last event with a full range of sizes and types (Blue / Brown / Rainbow)

 

The next Clear-out Event will be held on Wednesday 26th, and Thursday 27th June 2013

 

 

 Places are still available on the 10 fish limit 'Fly Only' Sessions - now at only £20 a ticket

 

 

The 'Fly Only' sessions have a 10 fish bag limit. You can use barbed hooks, egg-fly and boobies.

The 'Any Method' session is on a 'keep what you catch' basis

Session 2:  2pm to 8pm  (Fly Only, catch & release allowed)

Session 3:  7am to 1pm  (Fly Only, catch & release allowed)

Session 4:  2pm to 8pm  (Any Method)

 

Prices

£25 per ticket for Any Method*

£20 per ticket for Fly Only sessions

* This does not include free processing, or include any loyalty card stamps.

 

Processing

Gutting service available at 20p per fish

Filleting service available at 50p per fish

Re-Stocking
    The lakes will be re-stocked as usual leading up to the event, and fully re-stocked immediately after the event.

 

Fly Only Rules

  • Bag Limit: 10 fish per ticket, Any size, Any colour (brown, gold etc.)
  • Catch and release is allowed.
  • All fly types allowed including Egg Fly, Boobies, barbed hooks etc.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event

 

Any Method Rules

  • Bag Limit: No limit, keep what you catch, Any size, Any colour (brown, gold etc.)
  • No fish to be returned to the water.
  • No groundbaiting
  • Cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event
