Kilnsey Restaurant and Coffee Shop
Relax and enjoy the Kilnsey scenery over a delicious meal, light snack or cup of coffee. Our restaurant and coffee shop is well known for its delicious home cooking from Yorkshire, using recipes designed by Kevin, our chef. All our food is freshly made and free from artificial ingredients.
We welcome children by providing a children's menu, which we reviewed in 2006 to ensure that it was to the highest standards for our younger guests, and high chairs for our younger guests. We are very happy to warm baby food and we have baby changing facilities. Colouring sheets and crayons are provided to keep all of our visitors amused while their meal is being prepared.
 FAMOUS KILNSEY BATTERED TROUT!
They said it could never be done. Trout is an oily fish and batter will not stick to the flesh when fried but the Kilnsey Park kitchen proved them wrong! A batter was made with Black Sheep beer from Masham brewery and mixed with flour to form a superb light batter around the trout. The battered trout served with chips and peas is now the favourite on the menu.
GROUP BOOKINGS / SEASONAL PROMOTIONS
We accept bookings from groups and organisations and can offer a special menu with a discounted rate. We are also delighted to put together special programmes with guest speakers for groups. Topics can include our Red Squirrels, the Trout Farm and the wildlife in our Site of Special Scientific Interest. Please contact us for more information.

SCHOOLS AT KILNSEY PARK
Kilnsey Park has devised new educational activities for 2004. With the guidance of educational consultant we have now developed a range of activities from an introduction to fishing, to red squirrel conservation and a module on fish farming. We also offer pony trekking in conjuction with the local riding centre (www.kilnseyriding.com). All activities fit into the National Curriculum and a detailed resource pack is provided for each group which explains in detail how best to link the visit to NC requirements. Please call us on 01756 752 150 for further information and full information pack.
